Denzel von Donnerstag is a smaller sized, stunning 2 year old German Shepherd who likes walking down Hill Street with his head held high and his tail wagging. He is even happier if there is another dog walking with him. Our mid-energy boy is very sweet and a little shy. He has gained confidence since coming to Westside but still shrinks a bit when someone raises a hand at him, so we just make sure we have his full attention before reaching out to him. In time he will learn to trust again. He’s the kind of guy who prefers having his own space and doing his own thing, occasionally approaching you for affection and possibly a treat. Denzel gets along well with friendly, non-dominant dogs. He wags his way around the play yard, introducing himself to all but the dominant dogs, whom he will warn off if they get pushy with him.
